Housing Options

Short Term Housing:

UMBC has partnered with Extended Stay America Suites to provide an additional short term housing option for students on the UMBC Shuttle Bus Route. This is a great option for students while they secure permanent housing in the area. Extended Stay America Suites include a kitchen, on site laundry, and free wi-fi! UMBC students receive discounted prices at the following locations (Discount is automatically applied when using the link below for online booking. If booking in person, mention you are a UMBC student):

• Baltimore – BWl Airport – 939 International Dr., Linthicum Heights, MD 21090

• Baltimore – BWI Airport – 1500 Aero Dr., Linthicum, MD 21090

NOTE: Extended Stay America Suites is not a long term housing option. Students should plan to stay for a few weeks, up to 45 days maximum. Please prioritize finding long term housing options for your stay in the U.S. Additional housing options are outlined below.

Long Term Housing:

UMBC has partnered with our sister professional school, the University of Maryland, Baltimore (UMB) to provide UMBC students access to off-campus housing in UMB’s Fayette Square apartments. There are a limited number of spaces available, so do not wait to apply!

If you are interested in applying, please work directly with UMB Housing at the University of Maryland, Baltimore. If you have any questions or need additional information, please contact umbhousing@umaryland.edu. UMB housing staff from the Fayette Square apartments will be on campus August 26th at the Community Fair if you would like to speak to them in person.
