Interns and visiting researchers are unpaid, but desk and computer space are offered when available and ELI staff may act as mentors and colleagues where research interests and agendas intersect. Interns at the ELI have included scholars, teachers, and graduate students from around the world. Interns from UMBC’s graduate program in TESOL are particularly encouraged to apply.
