  • UMBC Transit
Free university buses for UMBC students are part of the UMBC transit system. To ride a UMBC bus you need your ID card.  Buses travel around campus and part of Baltimore county including the airport, train station, Light Rail station, downtown Baltimore, nearby neighborhoods, shopping centers, and more. Riding with Uber could be another option. To use this service you need to download the Uber App, from the Google or Apple store onto your phone. You can use this App to search for vehicles in your area.  In minutes a car will come to you and take you wherever you need to go. Prices vary depending on the distance you will travel.
  • Taxis
Like most major cities, Baltimore also has taxi services and is easiest to find at the airport and downtown.  There are several companies in the city, and we can direct you to them with contact information.

The United States is a very big country and one of the best ways to see it is by flying.  The Baltimore-Washington International (BWI) airport is very close to Campus and there are different airlines that can take you wherever you want to go.
